So, what exactly is a Hobonichi, and why has it become such a favourite among stationery lovers around the world?

What is a Hobonichi?

A Hobonichi Techo is a Japanese planner and journal designed around the idea that you can use it however you like.

The original Hobonichi Techo was launched in 2001 and has evolved over the years based on feedback from its users. Today, Hobonichi has sold more than 10 million copies and is used by people in more than 100 countries and regions.

The word “techo” simply means planner, but calling a Hobonichi just a planner doesn't quite capture what makes it special.
