Lovesoup, also known as Sai, is an independent illustrator currently based in Japan. Born in Thailand and raised in Australia, she relocated to Tokyo in 2018. With a background in architecture, design, and advertising, Sai transitioned to pursue her passion for illustration. Her work draws inspiration from the mundane aspects of everyday life, aiming to create charming and relatable art that brightens people's days. Her character, Pepper—a grumpy yet endearing girl—features prominently in her creations, reflecting themes of introversion and the simple pleasures of home life.
